In all honesty, I have kept in touch with all my close friends from back at home. I kept in touch with the ones who showed me that they truly cared about me. To this day, I consider them my sisters and brothers.
I also keep in touch with my family members who have always been there for me (especially my grandmother from my mom’s side ♥).
I wouldn’t say that I regret anything, but I AM resentful of people who changed because of college. There are certain individuals who let the college life get to their heads, and forgot all about where they came from, their true friends from back at home who were there for them for years, and don’t keep in touch with their families as much as they should. They got involved with all these stupid things that just isn’t worth it. It’s a bit ironic seeing that those same individuals are currently going through a lot of hardships and stress from problems that could’ve been avoided from the beginning.
Simply put, I am very loyal and protective of family and friends. If you truly show me that you care and are genuine, I will put the effort to keep in touch ♥
